As we left Paris, heading out on our circular route, we were soon in the lovely French countryside. We visited the wonderful, medieval Guedelon castle being built near the town of Treigny. The castle is being built using only the techniques and materials used in the Middle Ages. Visit there as often as you can, work is ongoing so the experience will be different every time. Next, we were off through the beautiful Loire Valley with its wonderful vineyards and villages.
